Is it right to say..
you caused me more pain than happiness .. ?!

There is really nothing wrong with the sentence. You caused me more pain than happiness.
Sanjay recommends changing happiness to pleasure. There is a difference in meaning, but pain and pleasure are more often contrasted with each other. This carries a sense of physical pain or pleasure, though. If you want to stick to the emotional side of things, suffering and happiness are easily contrasted.
