Clarification on Part of speach
Sheela bought a new clip for her hair---State the partof speach of "her ' in the sentence. Is it a possessive prnoun or anything else.

You are right. 'Her' is a possessive pronoun in this use. It can also be an objective pronoun.
I gave it to her. In this usage, it is the object of the preposition 'to'.
