Can you make these question parallel?
To go on picnics, taking part in sports, and vacationing with my family are my favorite summer activities.
We have begun to exercise more, to get regular check-ups, and dieting.

Your parallel problems are because you are mixing infinitives and participles in the same sentence. They should all be one or the other.

We have begun exercising more, getting regular check-ups, and dieting.
