There are several corrections that need to be made.
'One day' is two words and should be followed by a comma.
You have what is called a comma splice. This is two independent clauses connected with only a comma. You need either comma and a coordinating conjunction or a semicolon. You could also make this two sentences.
One day, you will lose important data, and it is really a shame when important files get lost.
