The use of "foundation"
I am using the word "foundation" specifically to refer to a foundation that was esteblished by a company. Am I wrong?
See example:
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream formed a foundation for the sole purpose of giving back to their local community, embodying the true sense of social responsibility.

This use of 'foundation' is correct. Don't worry.
I suggest, however, that you change 'for the sole' to 'with the sole'.
