why can I use the word "test"?

it is a technical word.

See example:

This is the spacer that we passed the test with code 3555.

Diana, I suspect that you meant to ask why you can't use the word, not why you can.  Either way, your sentence doesn't make much sense to me.  I am guessing that one of these sentences might have the correct meaning, but I can't be sure.

This is the spacer used to pass the test: code 3555.

The spacer used to pass the test was code 3555.

Spacer code 3555 was used to pass the test.

Code 3555 is the spacer we used to pass the test.
