doe this sentence makes sense?
There are so many component variations to the condition that adequately considered when properly diagnosing.
See example:
There are so many component variations to the condition that adequately considered when properly diagnosing.

On the assumption that it is necessary to consider the variations in order to make a proper diagnosis, I don't quite agree with Tolley's rewording. Instead, I would suggest the following:
"There are many variations to the condition that must be adequately considered (in order) to make a proper diagnosis."
"in order" is optional.
