Usage of if in a question
Thank you Rahul and Shawn for your answers!
I apologied for not stating my question more clearly: for formal (not very formal, but general) business writing, is it recommended to write: "If they need your help, will you help them? "
This type of question is very common in spoken English. I'm puzzled because I've not seen any grammar reference (haha, based on my limited time spent on grammar books) for the construction of a question that begins with "if", "when", etc.
Tks very much!
It is a First Conditional.
