Usage of if in a question

In writing a question, can I say "If they need your help, will you help them?"

Yes, it is correct to say so.
It would be better to begin with main clause:

Will you help them if they need your help?

If they need your help, will you help them? or  Will you help them if they need your help?  are both equally natural, actually.
